COVID-19 Guidance for Patients

COVID-19 Patient Guidance

Following the easing of Lockdown restrictions, we continue to work in accordance with guidance from Public Health England and the private hospitals in which we work.

I am delighted to advise that private elective surgery has now resumed at BMI Bishops Wood Hospital, BMI Clementine Churchill Hospital, BMI The Princess Margaret Hospital and Spire Thames Valley Hospital.

I am continuing to offer both face-to-face and telephone consultations for new and existing patients. Although remote consultations work well, there are of course limitations, specifically, to clinical examination and injection treatments.

We continue to take all precautions within the hospital including temperature checks, social distancing, mask wearing, washing hands and using sanitiser in between each patient. I have had both Pfizer vaccines due to my role in the NHS and continue to be tested weekly.

Please do not attend if you:

  • Have a high temperature, dry cough or other symptoms of the virus.
  • Or have been in contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19
  • Or are living with others who are self-isolating.

Any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Jane, my private secretary on 01753 665451.

Please stay safe.
